Dr. Ekuru Aukot leads Thirdway Alliance County visits on 8th July 2016

Dr. Ekuru Aukot who is the Thirdway Alliance Kenya Presidential Candidate and Kenya’s Constitutional Expert who led the panel that selected the current IEBC Commissioners Will be leading the Thirdway Alliance team for County visits across Embu, Meru & Isiolo, this visit confirms Thirdway Alliance Kenya’s resolve on public engagement at the local level.
Dr. Ekuru Aukot, will be meeting and speaking to the members of public, opinion leaders and local leaders at the various Counties. The visit will focus on various topics, including why Kenyans should elect him as the 5th President of the Republic of Kenya, corruption, tribalism, human wildlife conflict, education, issues affecting person with disability and other national matters.
He will also talk about the IEBC issue at length, and advice on what constitutional options exist to wholly resolve this issue amicably and pave way for next year’s general election which has been scheduled for August 2017.
Dr. Ekuru has declared he will be a Presidential candidate in 2017, and his secretariat has already begun its work. Previously Dr. Ekuru and his team have covered Makueni, Kajiado, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kakamega and now Embu, Meru & Isiolo this weekend.
Having steered the successful constitution making in Kenya and currently consulting for the Governments of Liberia, Government of South Sudan and Lesotho, Dr. Ekuru feels the lessons learned and best practices he has picked in the processes give him unrivaled experience in protecting the Constitution of Kenya 2010. The only other requirement in protecting the constitution is to ask Kenyans to vote him to the highest office, for them to realize the fruits of the new constitution.
